I don't know scientifically why its name is Neelkanth in Bengali, because what we mean by Neelkanth is blue voice, i.e. the color of the throat is blue, it cannot be seen.
However, there is an opinion in popular opinion that Neelkantha is a corruption of the name Neelkantha...
But today Vijaya Dasami stands on this lagna not scientific or popular, according to Hindu mythology there is an explanation for it and that is Alochya Biyo ---------- It is said that Lord Vishnu created it to pacify Devadeva Mahadev. For....and because Mahadeva's voice, i.e. throat, is blue after drinking the poison raised by the churning of the ocean, it is named the "blue voice" bird, in analogy to its name Nilakantha....though its throat is somewhat pink in colour. There are blue spots on the fins and when it flies in the sky, it is like seeing blue spots.....
Now let's come to this bird in connection with a ritual of Samandhiya Hinduism, according to the Shiva-puran of Hinduism it is mentioned as an attendant of Shiva, in earlier days the zamindarbabura of Calcutta and our Bengal used to fly this bird before the sacrifice of Mother Durga so that their superstition would tell them whether the bird was or not. He will fly to the abode of Mahadev on Mount Kailash and give the message of mother's arrival to Mahadev,,,, according to some people's religion-blind-belief or the vision of its Vijayadashmi day, the sins committed throughout the year will be absolved,,,,,,,, however belief- superstition- superstition that is. Let's go somewhere, we are all dependent on God, there it seems that the Almighty is present everywhere, and to find God is not a temple, a mosque, let's find God in all the creations of the world, in love...
Now coming to my own words, if I interpret the picture in my own way, then I can say that the bird is sitting in the picture as if it is ready to fly, this time it will fly to Kailash and go and tell Mahadev that mother is ready to leave us and go to her in-laws house... so funny. But I can say that in this era of digitalization, through the combination of faith and technology, the news reached Shivthakur that his wife left her father's house and returned to him crying.....
And today I gave this picture today just before the Durga Puja of our house with some faith and some love of my own for this special day........
,,,,, finally we will just say this on Vijaya day come again ma, come soon, we are waiting for next year....
