এবারের পুজোর সময় আমাদের গন্তব্য ছিলো হিমাচল প্রদেশের লাহুল স্পিতি অঞ্চলের বেশ কিছু অংশ। 18.10.23 তারিখ রাতে নেতাজি এক্সপ্রেসে করে দুদিন পর 20/10 এ ভোর বেলায় আমরা পৌঁছলাম চন্ডিগড়। সেখান থেকে গাড়িতে করে শুরু হলো আমাদের যাত্রা।

পাহাড় হলো আমার প্রিয় গন্তব্য। তাই প্রতি বছর পাহাড়ে ঘুরতে যাওয়া আমার চাই। এবছর ও তার অন্যথা হয়নি। সাধারণত লোকে পাহাড়ে গেলে পাহাড় আর তার চারপাশের প্রাকৃতিক দৃশ্য উপভোগ করে ও তার ছবি তোলে এবং আজকাল সেগুলো খুব ব্যাপক ভাবে সমাজ মাধ্যমে পোস্ট হয়। আর আমিও এই একই কাজ করি বেড়াতে গিয়ে। কিন্তু এবারের সফরে পাহাড় ও ল্যান্ডস্কেপ এর সাথে সাথে যথারীতি আমার নজর ছিল আমার সেই ডানাওয়ালা বন্ধুদের দিকে। সংখ্যায় খুব অল্প হলেও তাদের কিছু ছবি আমার ক্যামেরায় স্থান পেয়েছে।

তা হলো কি সফরের প্রথম দিন চন্ডিগড় থেকে বাসে করে মানালি যাওয়ার পথে মান্ডি পেরিয়ে একটি জায়গায় প্রাতরাশ করার জন্য আমাদের বাস দাঁড়ালো। জায়গাটির নাম খুব Aut. সেখানে সুস্বাদু আলুর পরোটা সহযোগে প্রাতরাশ সেরে একটু হাঁটাহাঁটি করছিলাম হঠাৎ করে চোখের সামনে দেখলাম লাল কালো মতো কি একটা উড়ে গেলো। আর সেটা দেখার সাথে সাথেই আমার চোখ টা যেনো জ্বলে উঠলো। তখন আমায় আর পায় কে কারণ যাকে উড়তে দেখলাম তার নামটা মোটামুটি আন্দাজ করতে পারছিলাম। কিন্তু তারপর বাস থেকে ক্যামেরা নামিয়ে লেন্স ফিট করে তাকে আর খুঁজে পেলাম না। খুঁজতে খুঁজতে হঠাৎ করে নিচের এই বন্ধুটি গাছের আড়াল থেকে বেরিয়ে এলেন আমার চোখের সামনে। এর ছবি যদিও আগে সমতলে তুলেছি কারণ এরা শীতকালে আমাদের সমতলে পরিযায়ী হয়ে আসে আর শীত কাটিয়ে আবার ফিরে যায়। যাই হোক যাকে আশা করেছিলাম তাকে না পেলেও আমার বন্ধুর উপস্থিতি আমার মন ভরিয়ে দিলো।
